SHELDON, N.D. - The High Plains Regional Rendezvous will be June 19-27 on the Sheyenne River in the Sand Hills near here.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the event that features shooting events, seminars, demonstrations, archery, games, camping and more.
The public is invited to experience the life of the voyager, mountain man and Native American at a primitive rendezvous that requires clothing, camp and gear to be of the pre-1840 fur trade era.
Campers will also experience cast iron cooking, percussion cap, flint lock and tomahawk throwing demonstrations and life as it was in the region in the early 1800s.
