Hawley's volleyball team wasn't playing with a full deck on Friday.

The aces were more than enough for the Nuggets.

Hawley ripped off 17 ace serves - including nine in the first set - to score a 25-21, 25-22, 25-16 sweep of Park Christian in the second round of the Class 1A, Section 6 tourna-ment.

"That's got to be the best we've served all season," said Breann Petermann, who had five aces for the Nuggets. "We don't serve that many aces that often, but we've done it before."
