The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close state Highway 200 from Twin Valley to Mahnomen starting June 2.
The road will be closed for reconstruction this summer from state Highway 32 to U.S. Highway 59. Crews will reclaim and resurface the road, widen shoulders and replace culverts and bridges.
The department recommends motorists use the posted detour of state Highway 113 between Syre and Waubun.
The department also reminds drivers in the Detroit Lakes area that U.S. Highway 10 will be reduced to one lane each way at Boyer Lake, between Lake Park and Audubon during Memorial Day weekend.
