Hiroshima posters on display at Carlson library

FARGO – An exhibit of posters to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, is on display through Aug. 10 in the lobby of the Fargo Public Library Carlson Branch, 2801 32nd Ave. S.

The exhibit includes some of the 30 posters that the people of North Dakota received as a gift from the people of Hiroshima through the Hiroshima Peace Museum.

The posters include photographs of the immediate effects of the bomb and the rebuilding of the city.
