North Dakota Gov. John Hoeven will host a U.S. Department of Energy ethanol conference in North Dakota this summer.
"Ethanol Workshops for Rural America" will be held at the Radisson Hotel in Bismarck on Sept. 4.
Ethanol Producers and Consumers, a national ethanol advocacy group, will conduct the workshop.
The event seeks to increase awareness of ethanol production opportunities for farmers and communities; boost ethanol's image; spur establishment of ethanol production plants; and increase use of ethanol fuels.
