Hospice offers classes dealing with grief, loss

Hospice of the Red River Valley is offering classes this fall dealing with grief and loss. Registration is required, and space is limited. All classes will be at Hospice of the Red River Valley, 1701 38th St. S, Fargo.

"Beyond Widowhood: Transitions" is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Mondays from Oct. 11 through Nov. 29. This class is for adults who have been widowed for at least one year. Registration deadline is Oct. 4, and the registration fee is $40.

"Journeying Through Grief" is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursdays from Oct. 7 through Oct. 28. This class is for recently bereaved adults to help them understand grief, explore methods of self-care and to embrace memories. Registration deadline is Oct. 1, and the registration fee is $20.

"Youth Journeys" is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 16. This program is for youth ages 6 to 18 who have lost a loved one through death. Adults are encouraged to accompany children. Registration is required by Oct. 11 and a nominal fee will be charged.
