WALKER, Minn. - A 20-year-old Cass Lake man has been indicted on a charge of first-degree murder and a 17-year-old boy was arrested as authorities continue the prosecution and investigation of several homicides in the area.
Last week, a Cass County grand jury indicted Kippy Wilson in the beating death of Samuel Dow, whose body was found in a basement in a rural Cass Lake home Nov. 7, authorities said. Bail was set Monday at $2 million. Wilson remains in jail.
Also Monday, the 17-year-old boy from Cass Lake made his first court appearance on charges of second-degree murder and two-counts of second-degree attempted murder in connection with the Oct. 21 shootings that killed Brandon Humphrey and wounded two other young men.
