Injured motorcyclist in critical condition

The man injured in a car-motorcycle accident Thursday in Fargo remained in critical condition Saturday at MeritCare Hospital. Roger Hanson, 49, Fargo, was injured around 3:30 p.m.

The man injured in a car-motorcycle accident Thursday in Fargo remained in critical condition Saturday at MeritCare Hospital.

Roger Hanson, 49, Fargo, was injured around 3:30 p.m. after a car collided with his motorcycle in the 1500 block of Fifth Avenue South.

The driver of the car, Salajko Hidanovic, 21, of Fargo was charged Friday with leaving the scene of an injury accident, resisting arrest, fleeing on foot, driving under suspension and driving with no insurance, according to Cass County court records.

Passenger Jillian Pearson, 19, no permanent address, was also arrested for resisting a police officer, Fargo police said.

The accident occurred after the Minnesota State Patrol attempted to stop the car, which had no license plates.
