In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the International Music Camp at the International Peace Garden, June 25 has been proclaimed International Music Camp Day.
More than 110,000 students from 70 countries have attended the music camp on the border between North Dakota and Manitoba. Students take part in summer concerts, recitals, exhibitions and public demonstrations as part of the summer school of fine arts.
