The Jamestown (N.D.) Fire Department has been awarded $83,572 to help improve the department's operations and safety.
Grant funding was made available through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program, which provides local first-responder organizations funding to purchase response equipment, personal protective equipment and vehicles that will assist in their work.
The grant was awarded through the Department of Homeland Security.
