Jerry R. Hovel
Jerry passed away in Visali, CA, on Sunday, November 16, 2003, at the age of 69.
Jerry Robert Hovel was born on October 23, 1934, in Minot, ND, to George and Sadie Hovel. He graduated from Pekin High School in 1952. In 1954, Jerry married Evelyn Kadry and farmed in the Pekin area for many years. Jerry worked for Wilrich Corp. in the 1970's. He settled in Visalia, CA, in the early 1980's and worked as a real estate appraiser for many years. In 1987, Jerry married Fern Goatcher Hood.
Jerry is preceded in death by his father, mother, and his wife, Fern who passed away February 21, 2003.
He is survived by sister, Joan (Marvin) Nygaard; daughters, Monica (Paul) Walczak, Jerene Carlson and Kelly (Bruce) Myers; five grandchildren, Matthew, Stephanie, Sarah, Jesse, and Jordan.

Services: Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 21, at 10 AM, in the Visalia Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Sheyenne Lutheran Church, Pekin, ND 58361, in Jerry's memory.
