Karn Monge Jilek, co-owner of Fargo Jiffy Lube stores, was elected president of the Jiffy Lube Association of Franchisees.
Jilek is the first female president of the association in its 27-year history.
Jilek has served on the JLAF board of directors for the past 11 years and as an officer of its executive committee since 2000.
A graduate of the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, Jilek has been with Jiffy Lube since 1991 and has been a franchisee since 1997. She and John Olstad own the three Jiffy Lube service centers in Fargo.
