The first-degree murder trial for James Allen Gunderson, 22, West Fargo, has been tentatively set for Oct. 11.

A Clay County grand jury indicted Gunderson on charges of first-degree murder and first-degree murder while committing a controlled substance crime for the death of David Hinojosa Jr.

Co-defendant John Jacob Cooper, 26, Fargo, will go to trial Sept. 26 for charges of aiding and abetting first-degree murder.

Each trial is expected to last about three weeks.

Lee Solarski, 22, of Moorhead pleaded guilty earlier this year to aiding an offender and received one year in jail.
