FARGO-A little more than a day before Mother's Day, a fuzzy baby Sichuan takin was born at the Red River Zoo on Friday afternoon.
The goat-antelope is similar to a muskox and is the national animal of Bhutan.
Forum photographer David Samson was at the zoo to capture the event as the little one took shelter underneath its mother.
The baby was born at 4:30 p.m. Friday. The zoo has not named the animal yet and plans to have the public's help in coming up with a name.
