A Moorhead teenager was arrested early Saturday for threatening violence with a replica gun at a motel, the Moorhead Police Department said.
Officers were called to the Guest House Motel, 2107 Main Ave., at 5:34 a.m.
A 16-year-old boy was taken into custody without incident. No one was injured.
The juvenile was being held at the West Central Regional Juvenile Center in Moorhead pending charges of felony second-degree assault, domestic assault, terroristic threats and minor consuming alcohol.
"The thing people don't realize with a replica firearm is if the people you're threatening believe it's the real thing, it may as well be," Moorhead Police Sgt. Dan Griffin said.

The juvenile also had warrants for his arrest for escape from custody in Cass County and receiving stolen property in Clay County.
