A pair of Kansas City rappers are set to play Fargo in separate shows in May, the shows' promoter announced Thursday.
Tech N9ne - an independent emcee who is releasing his 11th album, "Killer," in July - will return to play The Venue after performing twice at the facility in 2006. N9ne will be joined by rapper and teeth jewelry salesman Paul Wall. Ill Bill will open the 8 p.m. all-ages show on May 20. Tickets go on sale at 5 p.m. today.
Mac Lethal - who is signed to Minneapolis-based hip-hop label Rhymesayers and was last in town in October to open for Atmosphere - will play two shows at The Aquarium on May 7. An all-ages gig will start at 6:30 p.m., with an ages 21-and-older show at 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $10. Grieves and DJ SKU will open.
