Longtime KFGO personality Larry Ristvedt announced his retirement, leaving the radio station after 34 years.
He was recently diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease.
Ristvedt, half of the station's popular "Tom-N-Larry" show, is known for his quick wit and good humor.
The 68-year-old steps aside as farm broadcaster and morning show host at 790 AM. Filling his spot will be Shawna Olson, who was named the station's agribusiness and farm director.
Ristvedt's last day on the air was Monday.
