A Killdeer trucking company is being investigated for allegedly dumping oil well waste on roads.

Dunn County authorities say the dumping of what appears to be salt water occurred in mid-April on state Highway 22 and nearby county roads.

The state Health Department has taken core samples from the roads to determine what and how much was dumped.

Wylie Bice of Wylie Bice Trucking Co. says he has had drivers dump fresh water on roads to hold down dust, especially if ranchers request it. He says salt water has never been dumped on roads.
