Level 3 sex offender set to move to Moorhead; authorities will hold community notification hearing Monday night

MOORHEAD - The Moorhead Police Department and the Minnesota Department of Corrections will hold a community notification meeting Monday night to announce the release of a Level 3 predatory offender who plans to move to Moorhead.

The meeting set for 6 p.m. Monday in the Comstock Memorial Union ballroom of Minnesota State University Moorhead will focus on Ronald Vanvoorhees.

Vanvoores, who is set to be released June 14, has a history of sexual contact with a victim under the age of 10, according to police.
