A lightning strike in Moorhead knocked out power to more than 1,200 residents Monday.
The problem was discovered at 6:20 p.m., and by 7:10, power had been restored to between 200 and 500 the affected residents. Power was restored to the remaining residents by around 8 p.m., said Moorhead Public Service Commission officials.
