Dr. H. Elaine Lindgren of Fargo was recently appointed to the AARP North Dakota Executive Council.
Lindgren is professor emeritus, department of sociology and anthropology, at North Dakota State University.
She serves as a volunteer at the Fargo Emergency Food Pantry and as a mentor for The Giving and Learning Program: Mentoring New Americans to Succeed program.
