Lloyd Melvin Lenz, 78, of Evergreen, CO, formerly of Fargo, died August 3, 2003, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Friday, August 8, at the Lutheran Church of the Cross, CO.

He was born September 12, 1924, in Eagle Bend, MN. He sold recreational properties at Saint Mary's Glacier and Indian Creek Ranch and then in Texas. He was a 32nd degree mason in the Idaho Springs Lodge #26.

On December 9, 1944, he married Alice Irene Peterson. He was a member of Evergreen Lutheran Church of the Cross.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Geraldine Swanson of MN, Ann Bengtson of Lafayette, CO, and Penny Lambert of TN; a son, Gary of TX; brothers, John of MN and Jerry of Elizabeth, CO; and sister, Lois of MN. There are seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
