A fire started by an "intoxicated male with smoking materials" did damage throughout an eight-unit apartment building at 429 Fourth St. S. in Moorhead early Sunday morning, Moorhead Fire Department officials said.
There were no fatalities and Moorhead Fire Marshal Rich Duysen said he was not aware of any injuries.
Fire damage was mostly limited to the unit in which the fire started, officials said, but there is smoke damage "throughout the structure."
