MOORHEAD-Minnesota Farmers Union hosted a discussion of rural problems on Wednesday, April 5, at the Fryn' Pan in Moorhead where the state agriculture commissioner joined farmers and rural families..
Some say they're worried about national policies on trade, healthcare and tax reform.
Others brought up concerns about the state's aging roads and infrastructure.
Agriculture Commissioner Dave Frederickson said rural issues affect all Minnesotans.
"I want to focus on one Minnesota," he said. "I don't think we're being left behind. Obviously I'm here. I'm a bureaucrat, I work in St. Paul. I'm here today in Moorhead."
