MOORHEAD-Moorhead police arrested a Louisville, Ky., man this week after he responded to their online sting by trying to solicit what he thought was a 15-year-old prostitute, according to police.

Investigators, as part of their ongoing effort against human trafficking, posted a fake online ad this week disguised as a 15-year-old girl who wanted to meet people, said Moorhead police Lt. Tory Jacobson.

In response, Jon Harvey Carlson, 51, replied to the ad indicating he was interested in engaging in sexual activity with what he believed was the 15-year-old.

Carlson, of Louisville, was arrested without incident on suspicion of felony electronic solicitation of a minor. He's being held in the Clay County Jail.
