Moorhead police arrested a 21-year-old man Monday after receiving a report that he threatened a woman with a knife while he was holding a 6-month-old child.
Samuel Howard of Moorhead was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, fifth-degree domestic assault and child endangerment following the incident reported at 2:57 p.m. Monday at 504 17th St. S., according to a news release.
Howard is accused of threatening Armando Rivera Flores, 43, of Moorhead, with a knife. The two are acquaintances. Flores and the child were not injured in the incident, the release said.
The domestic assault charge stems from Howard striking his girlfriend in the face with his hand, the release said. Her name has not been released.
