A Moorhead man is accused in Clay County District Court of assaulting police officers with a knife when they responded to a domestic altercation Friday.
Damian Delgado, 26, 3325 18th St. S., is charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, obstructing the legal process, terroristic threats, fourth-degree assault and domestic assault.
Court records say:
Moorhead police were called Friday to a south Moorhead residence on a report of a physical domestic.
Upon arriving, officers spoke to a woman who said nothing had happened.

When officers tried talking to Delgado, who was standing near the woman, he ignored them.
When an officer instructed Delgado to keep his hands out of his pockets, Delgado instead reached into his pocket and began pulling out a knife.
Officers wrestled with Delgado and eventually subdued him, at one point spraying him in the face with pepper spray.
Delgado was arrested and a knife with a four-inch blade was taken as evidence.
Witnesses told police Delgado had assaulted a woman and threatened to kill her.
Delgado made a court appearance Monday and a judge set bail conditions for release at $25,000 bond or cash.
