MINOT, N.D. - A 28-year-old Minot man was found stabbed to death and a 19-year-old male was injured in an upstairs apartment in northwest Minot late Tuesday afternoon.
A third man in the apartment - Adolfo Contreras-Castillo - was initially taken into custody as a person of interest in the case, but Police Capt. John Klug said the man was later arrested for murder, aggravated assault and two counts of terrorizing.
He was taken to the Ward County Jail.
The stabbings took place at 2022 4th Ave. NW. Police were called to the scene about 5:40 p.m.
The victim and the teenager injured were not identified.
The teen was taken to Trinity Hospital where he was treated for a stab wound to his hand, police said.
Investigators were still at the scene late Tuesday night processing evidence, Klug said.
