A man charged earlier with robbing a Moorhead credit union has now been charged with robbing a Fargo liquor store.

David Joseph Dornbach, 45, is accused in Cass County District Court of the armed robbery Aug. 14of Royal Liquors.

Fargo police came across evidence connecting Dornbach to the robbery while helping Moorhead police with an investigation into the Aug. 20 armed robbery of the Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union.

A knife was used in both robberies.

Dornbach was arrested in a Fargo motel Aug. 21 after a tipster called police to say a man matching the description of the suspect in the Moorhead robbery was staying there.
