A Fergus Falls, Minn., man faces possible life in prison after his arrest by Fargo police.

Ricky Lee Hendershot, 24, made his initial appearance Friday in Cass County District Court on felony charges of possessing meth with intent to deliver, possessing meth, and possessing drug paraphernalia.

East Central District Judge John Irby set bail for Hendershot at $50,000 cash or bond.

Court documents state police executed a search warrant in an apartment at 2599 Villa Drive, Fargo.

Officers found scales, baggies, a vacuum sealer and sheets showing who had bought drugs, documents state.

Police also found $19,260 in cash and six ounces of meth divided evenly in bags. The meth, depending on how it is sold, has a street value between $7,200 and $20,400.

A conviction on the delivery charge carries a maximum penalty of life imprisonment without parole. If convicted, Hendershot would face a minimum of five years in prison on the charge.

Hendershot's next court appearance is a Nov. 7 preliminary hearing.
