A Ponsford, Minn., man is in satisfactory condition at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo after a rollover Saturday night near Mahnomen.
Steven Allen Abelman, 19, was the driver of a pickup which rolled on U.S. Highway 59. He was airlifted Sunday from Mahnomen Hospital to MeritCare.
A passenger, Gerald James Ironshield, 20, of Maytahwaush, died at the scene.
The roadway was icy at the time of the rollover, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Four others in the pickup suffered less serious injuries.
