A Fargo man was jailed late Sunday after a car chase that turned into a foot pursuit, West Fargo police said.
Police said the vehicle fled just before 10 p.m. from a traffic stop in the 800 block of East Main Avenue. After going about seven blocks, the vehicle struck a telephone booth in the Brookwood Trailer Park and the driver and a passenger fled on foot.
Police later located the driver and a passenger near the Days Inn in West Fargo.
The driver, Salajko Hidanovic, 21, was arrested for fleeing, reckless driving, reckless endangerment and damage to public service, police said. The passenger, a female, also faces possible charges.
