Fargo police arrested a man Monday for allegedly assaulting another man with a 2-by-4, Sgt. Mark Lykken said.
Officers were sent to 1222 Monte Carlo Drive after receiving a report of a man assaulting females in a trailer home, Lykken said.
There was no evidence of assaults on females, but another man at the residence told police that 29-year-old Dexter Mosley had hit him in the back with a 2-by-4, Lykken said, adding a witness corroborated the incident. The victim had a mark on his back, Lykken said.
Alcohol was a factor in the incident, he said.
Mosley, who has no permanent address, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and criminal mischief and taken to the Cass County Jail. He allegedly damaged a squad car by hitting his head against a window and trying to kick out both rear windows, bending the door frames, Lykken said.
