A Moorhead man pleaded guilty in Becker County (Minn.) District Court Thursday to having child pornography in his car in June.
Daniel Mark Shern, 42, pleaded guilty to one count of possessing child pornography and one count of driving after revocation stemming from a June 18 traffic stop on Highway 10.
According to court records, officers searched his car and found several photographs of naked juvenile females about 6 to 9 years old.
Under a plea agreement, Shern, who has been in custody since June 18, is to receive a sentence of six months in jail, including time served, and a $1,500 fine when he is sentenced Dec. 6.
Shern has a pending charge in Clay County of failing to keep Moorhead police informed of his whereabouts as required by Minnesota's sex offender registration law.

He was convicted in Pennington County District Court of sexual contact with a 7-year-old girl in 1993, court records say.
