A 64-year-old Fargo man pleaded innocent in Cass County Court Thursday to sexually abusing a boy.

Elvin Lund, 105 Santa Cruz Drive, is charged with gross sexual imposition, a Class A felony.

Lund told investigators he performed oral sex on the boy, masturbated in front of him and exposed him to gay porn magazines and videos, court records say.

The boy told investigators Lund sexually abused him for about five years, beginning when the boy was 6 years old, court records say.

Lund appeared in court Thursday in a wheel chair. He reportedly suffers from a stroke and lost a foot to an infection.

An investigation began when a member of the boy's family contacted police, according to court records.

Lund told police he still has sexual thoughts about the boy, but wants "to be healthy and not allow himself to do anything like this again," court records say.

East Central District Judge John Irby scheduled Lund's next court date for Sept. 3.

Lund was released from jail on a $5,000 bail bond.

If convicted, Lund could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison and fined $10,000. He would also have to register as a sex offender upon his release.

In other court proceedings Thursday, two of five men charged with breaking into a Fargo home armed with a baseball bat and brass knuckles pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges.

Nathan Andrew Whalen, 18, 5002 16th Ave. S.W., and Michael Joseph McGregor, 19, 1111 4th Ave. N., pleaded guilty to criminal trespass, a class A misdemeanor.

Irby handed the Fargo men 12-month deferred prison sentences.

Whalen and McGregor were among five men who entered an unlocked door at a south Fargo home May 10.

The men were looking to settle a fight from earlier that night, police said.

No one was injured in the home.

Also charged in the case are Ryan Jacob Wiser, 20, of Gardner, N.D.; McGregor's roommate, Drew Michael Schultz, 19, and Charles S. Dawson, 19, of 1733 7th St. S., both Fargo.
