Landen Jon Rencountre had originally faced a felony arson attempt charge, which was reduced to a misdemeanor criminal mischief charge.

East Central Judicial District Judge Douglas Herman sentenced Rencountre one year, first to serve 30 days, with the remaining time suspended for a period of one year of supervised probation.
