A Glyndon man wanted in Cass County on a charge of attempted murder has now been charged in Clay County with first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
According to a Clay County District Court complaint, a woman reported to Glyndon Police on May 16 that she had been sexually assaulted by Gregory C. Kaiser, 38, at his residence in Glyndon earlier that day.
According to the complaint, the victim gave more information to the police department several days later.
The woman told police that Kaiser bound her with duct tape and placed duct tape over her mouth during the assault.
Authorities have been searching for Kaiser since June 6.

According to Cass County District Court records, Kaiser attempted to kill his estranged wife that day by slashing her throat with a box cutter after breaking down the door to her Fargo apartment.
Kaiser is also charged in Cass County with burglary and criminal trespass.
After the June 6 incident, police tracked Kaiser's red 1999 Ford pickup to 12th Avenue and Elm Street in Fargo.
A search of the area did not turn up Kaiser. A nationwide arrest warrant was issued in conjunction with the Cass County charges.
