FARGO - A man who was found dead Jan. 13 outside the bishop's residence of St. Mary's Cathedral here died of a lethal blood alcohol level of .53 percent, Fargo police said today.
Vernon J. Weigand's death has been ruled accidental, police said, citing autopsy findings from the North Dakota Medical Examiners Office.
Weigand's cause of death was found to be "alcohol poisoning due to ingestion of alcohol," Fargo police said.
