FARGO - The Fargo Marathon has partnered with Dakota Medical Foundation, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota and Nike for the 2013 Shoes for Kids campaign.
DMF and BCBS will match a portion of each 5K registration fee donated by the Fargo Marathon. Donated funds will be used to buy Nike running shoes for children in the Red River Valley. The shoemaker is marking down the cost of shoes substantially for the program.
Last year the campaign donated 1,000 pairs of children's shoes.
