Marion McNair Little, 99, Mayville, ND, died Friday, July 23, 2004, at Luther Memorial Home, Mayville, ND.
Marion McNair was born the daughter of Henry H. and Gabriella Olson Neste McNair in Portland, ND. She graduated form Mayville Normal School in 1922 and taught first grade for 2 years in Hatton, ND, and Wheaton, ND. After her return to Mayville she was involved in the Congregational Church, medical auxiliary, Women's club, Camp Fire Girls, Eastern Star and hospital board. Marion married Dr. Roy C. Little of Mayville in 1926. He died in 1972.
Marion is survived by two children: Dr. James M. Little (Jean) of Perham, MN, and formerly of Mayville and Audrey Williams (Douglas) of Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren: Kris Black, Jamie Little, Barbara Fugleberg, Jody Osland, John Little, Kathryn Anderson, Amy Richau and Rebecca Dura; great grandchildren: Leslie and Jeff Harris, Adam and Laura Fugleberg, Jacob, Derek and Sidney Osland, Erik, Timothy, and Aris Anderson, Douglas Richau, Jack and Rachel Dura: honorary grandchildren: Kim Berseth, Gregg and John Sandvig; nephew Bob Evanson who lives very close to the farm where she grew up and many nieces and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her brothers William and Warner NcNair and sisters Ann Henderson, Ruth Evanson Kjos, Frances Haugen and Ione Leupp.
Funeral: Monday, 11:00 AM, July 26, 2004, at Mayville Congregational United Church of Christ, Mayville, ND.

Visitation: Sunday, July 25, 2004 from 2-4 at Baker Funeral Home, Mayville, ND and one hour before the funeral on Monday in the church.
Burial: Mayville Cemetery, Mayville, ND.
