MATBUS begins iGoEco challenge Sept. 16

InForum News Brief FSA

FARGO — MATBUS, the bus system for the cities of Fargo and Moorhead, kicks off this year’s iGoEcoChallenge to “Go Green With Your Routine” on Monday, Sept. 16. The annual challenge urges members of the community to use alternate forms of transportation at least once a week over a four-week period.

The iGoEco Challenge is separated into four challenge weeks. Each week, participants submit their contest entry by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday to tell MATBUS how they “went eco” that week. Going eco can be anything from walking to biking, carpooling, riding MATBUS or even rollerblading.

Each week, participants are entered into a drawing for prizes, including an Apple TV, Apple Airpods, an Apple Watch and an electric scooter. Those who participate in all four challenges are eligible for the grand prize of a $1,000 gift card from Gate City Bank.
