Barbara Matthees, a professor in Minnesota State University Moorhead's nursing program, has earned the certified nurse educator designation after completing an examination developed and administered by the National League for Nursing.
Of the nearly 1,000 U.S. nurse educators who hold the designation, only five teach in Minnesota and one in North Dakota.
