MAYVILLE, N.D. - Mayville State University experienced a large inÂcrease in enrollment for this year's summer session.
Enrollment was up more than 7 percent when compared with last year's summer counts. This marks the highest number of summer students enrolled at Mayville State since 1965 and sets a 46-year record.
The percentage of degree-seeking students enrolled increased by 11.4 percent over summer of 2010 figures. MSU's new eight-week summer session, along with 10-week, four-week, six-week and mini sessions, provided students with 120 summer course offerings. Twenty-eight of those courses were held on campus, and others were offered at a distance.
