Concordia College President Pamela Jolicoeur has selected the Rev. Timothy Megorden as the Moorhead school's campus pastor.

Last month, a search committee recommended the appointment of Megorden. He met with students and staff April 23 on campus.

Concordia held the search after longtime campus pastors the Revs. Phil Holtan and Gretchen Person left their positions in August.

Megorden has served as campus pastor at the University of North Dakota since 1990.

He graduated from Concordia in 1969 and from Luther Theological Seminary in 1973. His first parish was in Platteville, Wis., where he served for four years. He then served as campus pastor at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie for 12 years.
