Following are some of the area Memorial Day ceremonies planned Monday:

- Fargo: The United Patriotic Bodies, comprised of area veterans organizations, has scheduled ceremonies at 8:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Cemetery, 1502 32nd Ave. N., at 10:30 a.m. in Riverside Cemetery and at 12:15 p.m. in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1715 52nd Ave. S.

- West Fargo: 10:30 a.m., West Fargo VFW Post 7564, 308 Sheyenne St.. A program will follow at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Park.

- Moorhead: 11 a.m. ceremony sponsored by area veterans groups, including the VFW and American Legion, in the Moorhead Armory, 1002 15th Ave. N.

- Barnesville, Minn.: McGrath Park, 10 a.m.: A parade will end with a program in the park and a free lunch. The Happy Hooligans will fly over at 10:35 a.m. and Lorraine Frier, a past National VFW Auxiliary president, will be the guest speaker.

- Glyndon, Minn.: Concordia Lutheran Church Cemetery near here, 10 a.m. For more information, call (218) 287-8707.

- Arthur, N.D.: City Hall, 9:30 a.m., followed by a cemetery service and later a potluck dinner.

- Horace, N.D.: Services will be held in the following cemeteries: Clemenson, 9:15 a.m.; St. Benedict, 9:30 a.m.; Lower Wild Rice, 9:50 a.m.; Salem, 10 a.m.; Horace, 11 a.m.; Sheyenne River, 11:15 a.m.; St. Johns, 11:30 a.m.; and Brink, 11:40 a.m. A potluck will be held at noon in the Horace Senior Center. In case of rain, a service will be held at 11:45 a.m. in the Senior Center.

- Wahpeton, N.D.: The Fort Abercrombie State Historic Site will feature living history re-enactors and special programming from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. near here. For more information, call (701) 825-6840.

- North Dakota Veterans Cemetery: At noon south of Mandan and Fort Abraham Lincoln on Highway 1806. The service is free and open to the public. For more information, call (701) 667-1418.
