The following is a list of scheduled area Memorial Day observances:
Fargo: Veterans will assemble at 8:20 a.m. at the Holy Cross North Cemetery, 1502 32nd Ave. N. A salute to veterans will follow at 8:30 a.m.
At 9:30 a.m., veterans will assemble at the Veterans Memorial Bridge for a ceremony at 9:45 a.m.
At 10:30 a.m., veterans will assemble at Riverside Cemetery, 2102 5th St. S., for an 11 a.m. service.
Veterans will reassemble at 12:30 p.m. for a service at the Sunset Cemetery near 48th Avenue and South University Drive.

The Fargo VFW will also conduct a military salute at 1 p.m. at the USS Robolo Submarine Memorial in Lindenwood Park.
Moorhead, Dilworth and Sabin, Minn.: The Moorhead American Legion Post 21 and Dilworth VFW Post 1223 color guards will be at the following locations: Veterans Memorial Bridge, 7 a.m.; Sunset Memorial Gardens, Moorhead, 8:45 a.m.; Elmwood Cemetery and Trinity Cemetery, both Sabin, 9:15 and 9:30 a.m., respectively; Evergreens, Moorhead, 10 a.m.; Prairie Home, Moorhead, 10:15 a.m.; St. Joseph's Cemetery North, 10:30 a.m.; Riverside Cemetery North, Moorhead, 10:40 a.m. A program will begin at 11 a.m. at the National Guard Armory, 1002 15th Ave. N., Moorhead. There will be a flag-raising ceremony at the Moorhead American Legion Post at 1 p.m., followed by a meal of barbecues and chips.
Dilworth: The Concordia Lutheran Church north of Dilworth will hold a Memorial Day program at 10 a.m. in the church cemetery. Lunch will follow.
West Fargo: A flag-raising ceremony will begin at 10:45 a.m. at the West Fargo VFW on Sheyenne Street. A program will follow at 11 a.m. The ladies will serve a lunch of scalloped potatoes and ham.
Harwood: A service is planned at 10 a.m. at the Oakwood Cemetery. A freewill lunch will follow at the American Legion. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held in the legion.
Horace: The Horace American Legion Post 293 will host a dedication service for the new Veterans Memorial at 11:50 a.m. at the Horace Senior Center. The service will be followed by a potluck lunch. Earlier in the day, the Legion will host memorial services at the following cemeteries: Clemenson Cemetery, 9:05 a.m.; St. Benedict Cemetery, 9:30 a.m.; Lower Wild Rice/Red River Cemetery, 9:50 a.m.; Salem Cemetery, 10:05 a.m.; Horace Cemetery, 10:25 a.m.; Sheyenne River, 10:45 a.m.; St. John's Cemetery, 11 a.m.; Brinke Cemetery, 11:15 a.m.
