MeritCare Heart Center has received the 2005 Leadership Award by VHA Inc., a national health care provider alliance of leading nonprofit health care organizations.
The award recognizes clinical excellence in heart care and is based on the latest set of measures that has been nationally accepted as indicators of quality.
MeritCare qualified for the award by achieving at least a 90 percent compliance with all rate-based indicators.
