For the second consecutive year, Fargo's MeritCare Hospital has earned a spot in the "Top 25 Connected Healthcare Facilities."
More than 600 facilities were considered for the honor given by HealthImaging & IT magazine.
MeritCare is the only hospital in North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota to make the list, according to a news release.
Facilities who received the distinction were chosen for the percentage of the facility that is film-less, the percentage of procedures that are digital, the number of modalities and departments that share images and the ability of in-network doctors referring doctors to access electronic images, according to the release.
