A White Earth, Minn., man has died from injuries sustained after he was struck by a car south of Mahnomen over the weekend.

Robert L. Hanks, 56, died at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo. Hanks was hit by a vehicle driven by Richard Bodem of Detroit Lakes, Minn., 73, late Saturday evening.

Hanks was standing in the middle of Highway 59 when he was struck by Bodem's vehicle, which was traveling southbound, according to a Minnesota State Patrol accident report.
