Minnesota Guard clergy training set for Tuesday

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. - Minnesota National Guard, Veterans Administration and Yellow Ribbon, a service provider, are hosting a clergy training event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday in Alliance Community Church here.

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. - Minnesota National Guard, Veterans Administration and Yellow Ribbon, a service provider, are hosting a clergy training event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday in Alliance Community Church here.

"Topics discussed will include signs of stress to look for in returning veterans and their family members and ways to help them through these challenging times," Army Maj. Richard A. Rittmaster, chaplain for the Minnesota National Guard, said in a news release.

The church is at 408 Elm St. W. Clergy and church staff members are welcome to attend.
